Farmers Branch, TX
Position includes creating, updating and canceling bookings per requests from inbound calls and emails from customers/shippers. All candidates must have at least 2 years of recent customer service skills, excellent communication, and computer documentation skills.
The Logistic Specialists will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries quickly, troubleshooting issues, as well as tracking moving cargo using Gaus or other specialized shipping/import/export systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Answer inbound calls from queue and direct
- Create, update, and cancel bookings
- Troubleshoots operational issues
- Troubleshoots and coordinate pick up schedules with HII, EQ, WB Rail for Door moves
- Correspond with internal departments to gather shipper requested information
- Monitor Group and Personal email and responds to all incoming mail in a timely fashion
- Proficient navigation of GAUS or other specialized shipping/import/export systems
- Create new reservations in accordance with company and International regulations/requirements
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS NEEDED
- Work closely with Space Management for routing and space
- Look up equipment availability at various depot locations
- Overseas communication for feeder schedules, COD and inquiries from customer
- Understand the internal structures and correct contact parties
- Operational knowledge and understanding
- Release equipment from specified depots
- Process Web-Bookings/ E-Biz
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of recent Customer Service experience with good computer and data entry skills required
- Must have good time management skills, ability to prioritize work and work efficiently under pressure.
- Candidates must be able to multi-task, stay organized, be detail-oriented and have critical thinking skills
- All Candidates must have clear, proficient and professional communication skills/etiquette
EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED required. College degree preferred, not required.
