$DOE – 5+ years of RECENT Fabrication experience including, programming, setting up, running and troubleshooting CNC machinery. Must have a huge focus and expertise in quality. Must be hands-on problem solver on the floor most of time and technically savvy.

Candidates must be strong leaders who can create and implement policies/processes, supervise quality inspectors, programming machines, problem solving issues, etc. Must have worked with CMM.

Responsibilities

1. Oversight of the Quality Control and inspectors

2. Maintain pace of inspections to production needs

3. Aid inspectors in inspection process and techniques

4. Creation and review of Non-conformance reports

5. Creation and implementation of Corrective and Preventative Action reports

6. Interaction with product supplier quality teams

7. Maintenance of Device History Records

8. Identify areas for improvement of the Quality Management System

9. Participation in inter-departmental meetings and planning

Qualifications

1. Experience in managing an inspection team

2. Experience in metrology and quality control inspection

3. Experience or training in GD&T

4. Experience with Quality Management systems and processes

5. Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as Medical or Aviation

Education and experience

1. Minimum 10 years in all job responsibilities and qualifications listed

2. Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred or equivalent experience
