The Display Module Engineer will be part of the Product Service team, will work within cross-functional teams as well as individually on new process & product development and continuous service product and process improvement. In this role, you will work with many teams including Development, Quality, Operations, and Analytical. You will be the key engineering contact also part of Clean Room Operations supporting the transfer of new product services from the business. The module engineer will need to have an understanding of Display products, downstream assembly, and the interactions between manufacturing and materials.
Requirements
- BS or Advanced Degree required (Mechanical or Materials Engineering preferred) with minimum 2-3 years of industrial experience
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma techniques, including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, experimental design, mechanical simulations, and statistical analysis
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-managed environment Preferences:
- Experience working with external development teams and contract manufacturers
- Experience with clean-room based assembly processes including lamination, autoclaving and edge sealing
- Experience with device reliability testing and analysis, including accelerated aging
- Experience with Color display, printing, or the graphics and Electronic industry
