  • The Pharmacy Technician predominately works in the non-sterile lab, putting pellets in vials
  • Prepares orders and coordinates deliveries
  • Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls related to setting up specialty medication orders working with medical providers, customers, and other pharmacy staff to ensure patients receive their specialty medication in a timely manner
  • Receives and resolves issues over the phone & routes appropriately
  • Refers to medical questions to the pharmacist(s)
  • Prepare dosage medications for dispensing into bottles and unit dose packaging
  • Assist in preparing and dispensing medication under the direct supervision of Pharmacist
  • Select, prepare and stock medications and supplies

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician required
  • CPhT License or Trainee License
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Responsiveness, reliability, ability to express assurance/confidence, ability to express empathy, professionalism
  • PC skills in Windows-based applications
  • Team-oriented & customer service focus
