Available OT – 8+ years of relevant experience including troubleshooting 5 and 3 axis mills and working with metal and plastic lathes. Relocation paid. First shift.
Job Description
- Performs complex functions associated with the maintenance or repair of the manufacturing process including machines and equipment and to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilizes extensive knowledge of various CNC machines, equipment, and manufacturing processes to perform duties that may include but are not limited to:
- performing electronic, electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment or machinery used in the manufacturing process;
- dismantling, adjusting, repairing and assembling equipment and machinery according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings;
- conducting research from various sources and contacts to solve equipment problems;
- using test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts;
- rebuilding or modifying manufacturing equipment as required.
- May troubleshoot software as it pertains to test equipment or machinery as needed.
- May develop and train less experienced staff.
- May work independently and or supervise activities of less experienced staff as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+yrs of experience
- Experience troubleshooting 3 and 5 axis mills
- Experience with Plastic and Metal Lathes
- Demonstrates efficient problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
