About the position
The Account Analyst will
be responsible for driving sales growth of company’s proprietary products into
leading retail accounts throughout the USA. The Account Analyst’s main
focus will be to aid our Sales Directors in monitoring account performance, in
both shipments and POS sales, with a goal of increasing distribution and growing
top line sales. The Account Analyst will assist in managing accounts in all
retail channels including Food, Drug, Mass, Hardware, Club and Specialty. CPG
experience is preferred.
Sales Directors with all aspects of Account Management.
weekly customer sales and shipment reports.
and Builds relationships with Customers.
with POS Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Inventory Analysis and Budget planning.
ad hoc assistance to Sales Directors and Account Managers, including New
Customer Set Ups, Item Set Up, WERCS and Purchase Order follow up.
and analyzes shipment data to evaluate progress in meeting company sales goals.
of juggling multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick
turnarounds with a positive attitude.

of assortment planning and ordering processes.
Understanding of Retail/ Business Math.
skill in Excel (including V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros)
knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM and the ability to learn company specific
business planning and task management systems.
to prepare sales reports/presentations and interpret data.
verbal and written communication skills.
to collaborate internally.
in a dynamic, fast paced, small team environment.
– 5 years of related experience in Buying, Planning or Sales Support Experience
in a CPG preferred.
degree in business or related field of study.
